What is a crimped metal mesh

Corrugated or crimped wire mesh is a woven metal mesh in which the wire strands are pre‑crimped (i.e. wave‑shaped) before being interlaced.
This process creates a stable network with uniformly precise openings and excellent mechanical integrity.

Unlike rigid welded meshes, corrugated mesh gains strength through its woven structure rather than through fixed weld points, resulting in a product that is flexible under load but resistant to deformation under tension or pressure.
